There’s More Than One Path: The Joys And Stresses Of Caregiving
The traditional view of caregiving is one focused on the burden of caring for a loved one, whether this is a parent, spouse or child with health issues. While there are challenges with caregiving, researchers are finding that caregiving can also offer rewards in ways previously not understood. The purpose of this session is to describe how the joys and stresses of caregiving can co-exist and how living in the moment can prove to be a source of strength now and for later.
