AT4ALL is a free service from the Assistive Technology Partnership. AT4ALL has a variety of equipment available for all of your needs. Equipment available includes computers wheelchairs scooters walkers personal care items items for vision and hearing impairments hospital beds and adapted vehicles. At AT4ALL you can find equipment for loan for sale or for giveaway. You can also find equipment from local lending program to try out before you buy it.

Boystown National Research Hospital is recognized internationally as a leader in communication disorders research as well as a referral center for children with problems such as ear hearing and balance disorders cleft lip and palate and speechvoice problems.


CHERAB Foundation Inc.

CHERAB Communication Help Education Research Apraxia Base Foundation is a non-profit group that encourages research and education projects that promote healthy language development with a focus on verbal apraxia in children and Early Intervention.


CHIRS Consumer Health Information Resource Service

Need information to guide decisions about your health or the health of a family member or friend The McGoogan Library of Medicine provides such information to Nebraska residents free of charge through their Consumer Health Information Resource Service CHIRS. A Health Sciences Librarian will research your condition and provide a tailored package of information that may include Journal Articles Book Chapters Pamphlets and Web Resources. CHIRS information is provided for informational purposes only. Consult with your health care provider for specific medical questions. To request health information contact CHIRS or email them at askusunmc.edu or contact your local public library.

The Assistive Technology Partnership hosts this housing listing and locator service that will provide easy access to information about housing opportunities throughout Nebraska. The service allows Nebraskans to locate available housing that best fits their needs either through the web site or 1-888-806-6287. Individuals will be able to easily search for housing using a wide variety of search criteria access other helpful websites as well as tools for renters including an affordability calculator a rental checklist and renter rights and responsibilities information - also provides information on supportive services throughout the State especially those services linked to housing needs.


The National Information Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities NICHCY

The National Information Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities NICHCY - This comprehensive site provides information on disabilities and disability-related issues for families educators and other professionals. They focus on children and youth birth to age 22. This NICHCY site and their publications are available in Spanish.


Nebraska Library Commissions Talking Book Braille Service

The Nebraska Library Commissions Talking Book Braille Service is part of a nationwide network of cooperating libraries headed by the National Library Service NLS a division of the Library of Congress. They provide audio and Braille books and magazines to individuals with a visual or physical condition or reading disability which limits use of regular print.


Nebraska Speech-Language-Hearing Association

The mission of NSLHA is to promote speech language and hearing services in Nebraska to encourage education and research activities and to advocate the rights of persons with communication disorders.
