The Truth About Foster Care: Hear Their Stories
Lincoln – The public can hear firsthand stories from youth on the Nebraska Foster Youth Council about how foster care impacted their lives by coming to a public forum. Foster parents will also be on hand to tell their experiences about foster children living in their homes.
The forum will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on June 19 at the YWCA, 221 East Fonner Park Rd., in Grand Island and is sponsored by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).
