YMCA Camp Kitaki

Parents tell us this is the best all-around camp
experience in the region. Making new friends and
sharing challenging activities go hand-in-hand at
this exciting week of camp. Campers spend their
mornings participating in three different clubs of
their choice, which they sign up for during the
camp session. The camper’s afternoons are spent
with their cabin group, pursuing progressive
challenges that vary depending on each camper’s
age. Every camper gets to spend time horseback
riding, doing crafts, archery, visiting the lake and
the pool, and climbing our climbing tower. Evenings
are spent bonding with their cabin mates, playing
games, or participating in large unit activities.
Every night is closed with a quiet reflection time
called vespers.

Flag raising and chapel services start out each
day. By the end of it summer campers have
participated in the signature activities that make
Kitaki such a magical place like Campfire, Juice
Jam, Jungleland, KnightQuest, and of course the
early morning dip in the pool known as Polar Bears
(optional). Summer Camp at Kitaki is the best
week your child will have this summer!
