Camp Heartland: Residential Summer Camp
The Fowler Center in Michigan has been providing year-round outdoor recreational and educational experiences for people with special needs, including: mental and physical challenges, autism, traumatic brain injuries, as well as sensory and communication challenges. Activities offered at the Fowler Center include outdoor education, horseback riding, creative arts, water sports, and barn and garden activities.
Day camp will be offered Monday through Friday to campers aged 6-20 wanting a shorter yet fun-packed experience at The Fowler Center. Traditional camp activities will be offered and most programs will run separately from concurrent residential camp activities. Individuals aged 21-26 are eligible for day camp sessions if they are attending high school. Drop-off will be each day at 8AM and pick-up will be each day at 5PM.
