Ready to Make a Difference: Birth through Grade 3

The research conference series “Ready to Make a Difference: Birth through Grade 3” is designed to ground providers of education and caregiving services in the research on child development and best practices related to children from birth to grade three. Participants will learn how to apply research findings and use them to design and implement effective services for children from birth through grade three. Part one of the series focused on birth to age five. Part two, the April research event, will focus on children from prekindergarten through grade three.

The Individual Family Support Plan (IFSP)

This workshop provides information on how the IFSP works for families who have infants and toddlers with special needs. Families will learn how their family routines fit into the development of the IFSP and become a part of the goals for their child's plan to learn and grow.

Easing Into Yoga

This class is designed to introduce the practice of yoga. You
will learn breathing, posture, balance and stretching techniques
as well as weight bearing poses to help increase bone density.
This practice will improve your general health and overall sense
of well being.
